Customer Care Information
Register any time!
We’ll gladly pro-rate tuition or schedule makeup classes if you join after the Kindermusik semester begins or part-way through the month.
Kindermusik Payments
Pay in full for the semester or choose our three-pay payment option. To confirm your enrollment, payment by check, cash, or credit card is due with registration.
Payment for vocal, instrumental, and art lessons
Monthly tuition rates for vocal, instrumental, and art lessons are based upon the nine-month school year during which there are 34 weeks of instruction plus the recitals, special performances, and festivals. The monthly tuition payment is due September through May. Summer lessons are pro-rated when a schedule is agreed upon at the beginning of each month.
Tuition payments are due by the first lesson of the month. Late payments will be assessed a $10 late fee. Lessons will be suspended if payment is more than 10 days overdue.
Check or cash payments are accepted. Please write one check per teacher. Checks are payable to Piano Central Music Studios.
Registration Fees
The registration fee for adult students is $15. The annual registration fee of $35 for school-age students includes the cost of registration, the assignment notebook, recital fees, Music Fest fees, and a year’s subscription to Piano Explorer. Fees for other events are collected separately. Kindermusik semester fees are all-inclusive.
Returned Checks
There is a $20.00 fee for all returned checks.
Make up Lessons
Kindermusik classes may be made up in any class with extra room. Simply call the office to schedule in advance.
In fairness to all students in our vocal, instrumental, and art lessons, and out of respect for the weekly lesson time teachers specifically reserve for each student, only one makeup lesson can be scheduled per fall or spring semester. (Makeup lessons should be reserved for extenuating circumstances.) Lesson time cannot be extended for being late. All lessons missed due to teacher absence or snow days will be made up. Tuition is due regardless of missed lessons.
Thirty-Day Notice of Cancellation
If a school-age or adult student must discontinue lessons, a written, thirty-day notice is required. Payment is due during this time whether or not lessons are taken.
Materials and Supplies
Instrumental students need an instrument for daily practice. Bills for music or art supplies will be sent by the teacher as needed, and should be reimbursed by the next lesson. A free assignment notebook is provided at the first lesson.
Kindermusik At Home materials are included in the semester fee, and will be given out at the first class. Materials are not needed for class, but are designed for your use at home.
Parental Involvement
Parental support is crucial to the success of each student. To keep parents informed, we regularly communicate via email or flyers. Students in vocal or instrumental lessons also have an assignment notebook to facilitate communication between studio and home. As always, we welcome your feedback! |
